Create a backup of WhatsApp Messenger
Backing up the required data of WhatsApp Messenger before installation of Blue WhatsApp is necessary, but only if you will use the same WhatsApp account in the mod version. If you’re here to have two different WhatsApp accounts and using the Blue version only for your second account, then you can skip this procedure:
1. Launch the WhatsApp Messenger app on your device.

3. Open the Settings tab from this menu.

4. Now we need to get to the Chats section as we need a chat backup.

5. Search for the Chat Backup option and hit it.

6. Now a window will open with Chat Backup settings. Enable the checkbox at the bottom if you want to take a backup of media files too.

7. Ultimately, click the green Back Up button listed on the Backup page.
8. After 100% backup Success, you need to open the Google Files or File Manager app.
9. Open the root folder of Internal Storage and find a folder named WhatsApp. (If it’s not there in the root folder, navigate to Internal Storage<Android<Media<com.whatsapp folder.)

10. Copy this folder and paste it to the Downloads folder of your device.

11. Now open the Downloads folder and rename this WhatsApp folder to Blue WhatsApp.

Method of installing Blue WhatsApp APK on Android
Installation of Blue WhatsApp APK works the same way as other apps, but the only problem is its unavailability on the Google Play Store. That’s why you need to go with a manual installation procedure. But if you have completed the above steps or pre requirements, you can go ahead as the way ahead is simple and subtle –
1. Click here and download the latest version of Blue WhatsApp APK.

2. Open the File Manager app on your device and get to the Downloads folder, as that’s where you will see the Blue WhatsApp APK you downloaded recently.

11. Press the Verify button, and you’ll now get asked for permission regarding reading messages.

12. Accept all the important permissions and WhatsApp servers will soon send a message containing OTP on your WhatsApp Number.
13. Fill in this One-time passcode and press the Verify button.

14. Again, allow for the significant permissions like Contacts and Internet.

15. Skip for the Google Backup option, as it doesn’t work in the WhatsApp Mod versions.

16. Servers will now find an existing backup and if you have created one above in the prerequisite steps, you’ll get pinged by it.
17. Click the Restore button for that backup which will take some time and restore all the data including messages and media files.
18. Finalize the verification by adding your profile name, bio, and a picture.
